Snutch Labs was founded in 2006 when entrepreneur, inventor, and crypto zoologist S. Clayton Yurpecs recruited five lazy and nearly incompetent wannabe writers for an experiment whose goal is yet to be determined. In keeping with his Modus Operandi, Yurpecs transformed the group into six(!) lazy and nearly competent wannabe writers in just five short years.
Yurpecs was quoted by an unnamed source as saying “This group drinks more than any other group I’ve organized, and I’ve organized at least one other group!” About the work you hold in your hands now, Yurpecs says, “Evidence that anybody can publish with enough ass kissing and shallow pimping.”
Yurpecs remains doubtful Snutch Labs will ever complete another project again. Between the drinking, betrayal, and in-fighting, the members just have too many other cats to juggle. Maybe one day the stars will align and sobriety will conquer the day long enough to once again mash six disparate stories into a cohesive narrative.
Maybe.
Until then Snutch Labs will continue to struggle and drown in alcohol and S. Clayton Yurpecs will feverishly pursue two other passions: producing a remake of the film Pretty Woman with Nathan Lane as the hooker with a heart of gold and realizing his dream of seeing sursild (pickled herring) on fast food menus throughout the country.
